Rumination Series
2021
Rumination shows my own emotional and physical journey through childhood into adolescence and into adulthood. The appreciation of having such a wholesome childhood clashes with the profound sadness of no longer having the ability to experience those memories again. The photographs consist of places and items that had importance through this inevitable journey of growing up. However there is also an abstract element to the work, incorporating metaphors relating to the emotions involved with the process, because I want the audience to be able to relate to the project, and abstractness allows room for interpretation.
Landscape of the Body Series

My work explores the contradictory relationship between humans and the environment we inhabit, through analyzing the landscapes around us and of the human body. The destructive yet harmonious aspects of humans and the environment are displayed through distortion, collage and also simple but abstract photos.
Portrait Series
2021
My work explores the effect color has on the way we perceive people, particularly the way we associate colors with the ones we love. As well as showing internal reflection upon color, essentially capturing the way I view those I love and the way in which they view themselves.
